Our privacy-first default
ILoveTranscript is designed so transcript text and local history remain in your browser unless a future cloud-saving feature asks for your explicit choice. Uploaded files are used only to perform the requested processing and are not intended for permanent server storage.
Information we process
- Local transcript text, titles, options, and source metadata stored in IndexedDB on your device.
- Account details such as name, email, plan, and login providers when Supabase authentication is enabled.
- Aggregate job metadata such as input type, status, and duration for limits and reliability; not transcript text or source URLs.
- Billing identifiers handled through Stripe when payments are enabled.
Files and transcription providers
Files may be sent temporarily to the configured transcription provider. Their processing is governed by their own terms and data controls. Temporary browser file blobs are removed after a job finishes or fails.
Cookies and local storage
Essential storage remembers theme, consent, usage allowance, and local history. Optional analytics remains disabled unless you accept it in the cookie banner.
Your choices
You can edit or delete individual local transcripts, clear all local history from Settings, reject analytics, or request account deletion after account services are enabled. Clearing browser data may also remove local transcripts.
